Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to provide underwriting support by performing key administrative and analytical tasks. The ideal candidate will have a background in analyzing loan and lease financing requests and assisting the underwriting process.Key Functions:• Prepare credit reports/documents including analysis and pulling of credit reports on borrowers and guarantors.• Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial statements and collateral for credit requests.• Provide well-considered recommendations based on credit risk analyses.• Support sales teams via direct communication with borrowers and business sources.• Stay informed about current lending procedures and policies.• Assist with the completion of regular problem loan reports as directed.• Manage a range of routine administrative and reporting functions.Additional Responsibilities:• Collaborate effectively with administrative staff to offer swift responses to customer inquiries.• Participate in company meetings and events.Qualifications:The desirable candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field or must have equivalent work experience. They must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills and have an in-depth understanding of financial statements and credit risk assessment. They must pay strong attention to detail and be proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use. Preference will be given to candidates with previous customer service/sales experience.
